I should still be going! I'm working on installing my TJ flares, boy do the write ups on these lack a LOT of info.

Your not kidding about the thread dying off.

I took the 9th of of work just to make sure i had everything in order, long drive to find out you left things at home:shocked: .

James.

I pretty sure I'll be able to make it. Finances are a little tight at the moment, but I should be able to scrape up the funds to get up there.

I was at TSF last weekend and had a great time. The park rangers were checking for OHV stickers while I was there. Definately get one before you go. There are quite a few trails that are still closed. The signs say closed for winter, so hopefully that means they will re-open them soon. I went with a group that is more familiar with the area and I was told that some of the harder open trails have been made easier. The powerline trail is basically a gravel road now. not too difficult. Here's a couple pictures of me on little Rubicon:

Hopefully the roads have seen a little rain. The dust was terrible. I haven't had time to clean out the inside of my Cherokee yet. Everything is still coated in dust.

welcome aboard. It's kind of an open invite. i am sure we'd love to have ya. 3" & 31"s...nothin a good spotter and a lil tug can't get ya through.

As long as there's some good spotters up there, I'm good to go. :D

3" and 31's should be more than enough to get you through almost everything up there. Like pdxxjnoob said, he's stock and can easily hang with people with lifted rigs.

my co-pilot is a long time friend and long time wheeler i am sure he will be out and about spotting and trying to help everyone. although...he did manage to steer me into some passenger side window breakage last weekend. but don't let that scare ya off, i would trust him with my life.

haha, Since most of time is spent in sand and mud, I havnt gotten comfortable with the whole body damage thing yet. But it seemed like some people were iffy about going now, but if its still a go I think I can make it, I only live right down the coast in Coos bay

As i said b-4 there are by-passes on most of the trails so if it looks like somethin your not comfy with, just meet the group on the other side. i am sure you are not alone as far as "the fear of body damage" I'll be going rain or shine. see ya there. we are still waiting for the final vote on what time and where we are meeting i think. but we will keep ya posted. :compwork:

P.S. remember..."chicks dig body damage"

10:30 @ North Plains sound good?

Head out at 11. That gives the WA guys plenty of time to make it down and over to North Plains. There's plenty of parking, gas, and bathroom break before heading out.

Out of curiosity, would there be any issue with me inviting a friend? I know it's sacrilegious, since he drives an Exploder, but he loves wheeling and I think he'd love to go.
