I'ld still like to see pictures of those sliders actually being used.

Not everybody is to that point of trashing the vehicle. Some just put it on there to make sure that when accidents happen it doesn't damage the vehicle.

I was unaware that actually using a component in a manner in which it was designed to be used ...and one which you have chosen to specificly equip your vehicle with... was "trashing the vehicle". i had always thought that it was just "using the vehicle" .... learn something new everyday :compwork:

by the way......Outfitterguy....nice looking rig

yeah, i'm guessing that he would like to keep the rockers off the rocks and hope the protection works if he can't manage to do that. that is why we buy stuff that other people have proven or is so beefy we couldn't imagine damaging it. lots of us dont really want to find out the hard way. :)

Hmmmm So I hear today that Rubicon Express REMOVED this kit from the market..... :hang: :lecture: I wonder WHY???

Dude! Are you on CRACK? I heard that you are... I would guess that you would probably like a person to confirm that with you before getting slanderous with remarks. Call Rubicon if you have questions about product being discontinued. If you spread crap like that the only thing that will get discontinued is this thread. I assure you that Rubicon did not discontinue thier XJLA, as a matter of fact you are mis informed. On the subject of dragging my XJ accross the rocks...I would love to say that my driving skill keeps me from having to do that but the fact of the matter is that I like to pivot, slide, and grind the parts of my jeep that are made to take the abuse; I try not to hit the nice sheet metal...semi gloss is a fine way to keep the grinded up sliders and gas tank skid looking shiny new. PS all parts are still working great, including the factory brackets. Wait till I put up the pics of my new interior cage...so sweet!
