Well boys and girls... I'm moving soon and need to be able to tow a trailer about 20miles between the houses sooo... I got my Lift!!!

Let me say that the result was MUCH taller than expected. In fact my Bro-In-Law and I jacked up the rear a few months back to simulate how high iti might go with a 3.5" or a 5.5". I think that the result was nearer our 5.5" simulation. DAMN!!!

I wen't with the RE Mono Tube Shocks since the one my installer usually gets were BO from RE for a while past when I needed it. Bit of a downgrade there, but once again...

DAMN! She looks N I C E! I'll try and get a pic online sometime, though my Digitial Cam upload cable is packed currently I think, and not sure that I have a Pre-Lift Pic, but the 31" MT/Rs were about even with if not inside where the wheel well starts with the stock Flares. Now there is a TON of clearence, I'll measure it today.

Ran out of time to install it myself so I had Northridge 4x4 install it.

YOU MAKE ME SICK.:D: I hope your speedo doesn't work, still. Bring on the pics NOW !!

Any vibes? If not, I hate you. Don't worry, it will settle down an inch. See:

With 32's.

Now...

Mark. Your turn.

Hmmm settling... Maybe I'll have to throw some ACOS in front and some Revolvers or reg extended Shackles in the back when it does. No big vibes. The guy did an alignment, but might have him double check it cause I am feeling my MT/R Tread more than I was before, and on Driveline I only feel a little vib when in decel on a hill. It's almost too little to notice, and could prob just use an SYE. Didn't have the funds to do it right now, and it's so slight it will be fine for the time being. My rear U-Joint is loose he told me, so I'll be getting that fixed in the near future.

So far I'm VERY pleased. Wish I could have gone with the 4.5", but funds wouldn't allow the extra cost for the Kit and to put the SYE on immediately.

When I got my 32's, I loved them so much that I also debated going with a budget boost or the ACOS spacers and some Greasable 1.5" shackles. After my wife bitched about the extra inch the tires gave the jeep in height, I decided to trim my fenders first.

I'll need the boost to counter the weight increase once I get new bumpers/winch and a rack. Need Bushwhackers and a Snorkel...
Mmmm #6 Decal - The Runner Up Design. ;)

I washed here and put some shine on my MT/Rs yesterday. Damn she looks Sekzey!!!

PICS!! WE WANT PICS, DAMMIT!!

I have the same lift sitting in a box in my garage right now (except I got OME shocks). I have way too many things going on in life right now to do the work, so my (new) friends at Central are scheduling the lift on the 28th and the SYE around the 30th or 31st....

Boy! Those 30's are gonna look funny, huh?

Mmm 31" Goodyear MT/Rs! :D

I'll try and find the camera upload cable... 28th is my B-Day hehe.

B-Day Gift Registry:
Snorkel
Bushwackers
SYE
Lift Shackles
ACOS
Front/Rear Bumpers
etc, etc, etc... :D

how many miles on those 31" sneakers you got eh? Can I call dibs in advance if the price is right?

I just did the same to mine last sunday...

if the stock hieght is 17.5 inches from hub to bottom of flares, then this kit got me 5 inches f AND r... both measure @ 22.5".

Looks nice, but the 30/9.5's look small now... the kit says that 31s will fit, but I might be thinkin 32's....

actually, thinking the 33/9.5s might be the best solution...

Especially after your first run, you will need to trim the flairs with 32's. At least the front. Tuesday I ripped out the inner plastic liner inside the front fenders. Monday or Tuesday, I will be grinding down my flair, just a little.

Mark,
If I can't get my hands on the Rock rail made by AJ that I want, I will be ordering the rock rail from JCR, or the RR rails:

Not because of the idea of a step. After Joe escorting me through a trail on Tehuya, I need more protection from Trees. The RR rail does not stick out far enough.

32"s would probably be fine with this lift, but 33"s are pushing it, ESPECIALLY if you don't cut your fenders and put some Bushwhackers or something on. 33"s prob won't fit after things settle in and other equipment gets installed.

Bushwackers wouldn't be necessary with the right backspacing. ;) I've got relocated stock flares with 12.50s and 4" backspace. *Part* of me wishes I had done 4.25" or 4.5"... I don't stick out more than 1" past stock flares though as it is.

I actually meant due to the larger size following the cutout process. I think 33"s are too large for the 3.5" Lift...
