Still running the stock 1350 yoke with a 1350-1310 conversion joint (spicer part # 5-460x). I have the stock straps on it for now, I plan on getting some u joint girdle style ones from Great Lakes Offroad.

ok cool. I was looking at those and was about to buy them. but there alot of money, I know there cheap compared to HADs solution, and AAs but at 55$ there still not cheap.

thanks

Got some 95/96 basic manual 2dr seats, they fit and give me good head room.

Got the winch in there and wired up and junk. You can also see the plate style tranny cooler behind the grill.

Did a cowl intake thingy. Some exhaust tubing and flex airduct tubing to a K&N filter hidden under the cowl piece.

Boatside skins, drilled and countersunk. Still gotta paint the 1/8 backing plate.

And here's the fun crap I'm into now. Make some framework outta 1x.120 square tubing and gunna skin it all with some 18g. Plan is to weld it all solid and have access panels to the shifters and mating studs/nuts.

My Mom wanted some bushes removed. My Dad and I waited until she left. This is the result.

Make sure you leave enough room to pull the transfer case back after unbolting it, no good being able to unbolt it but then not move it enough to get it out.

It would be pretty funny for the rest of us though.

Holy shit I never thought about that :roflmao: And with what I have planned that would probably be an issue.

I have no idea why people are so adamant about welding/closing all the floor mods up permanently.

Do yourself a favor now and just make all the panels removable. Drill & tap a few holes in the box tubing, bolt the plates on, and call it good like that.

One of the best things I ever did on my XJ.

Access for repair/maintenance is never over rated!

MUST FINISH!!! NACFEST SO SOON!!!

Knocked out some rear shock hoops for the 7100's. 3x3 angle capped over the top of the framerail and outside, hoops mount to them. Ran outta tubing to connect the two with a crossbrace, so I bought 300' of 1.75x.120 DOM. Should be enough for my cage, another simple cage, and enough extra to play with.

Floors/tranny tunnel almost done. Driver side seat mounts are done and braced to the tranny tunnel subframe and rocker support legs. Still gotta weld in a couple panels on the passenger side with access panels for the shifters/t-case. Still gotta build a removeable cover for the UCA mount thru the floor and make the other seat mount. Gunna get some front seat belt buckles so I can just run the stock belts for now, once the cage is in I'll do a harness.

looks good dude.
one thing, your shocks.... how much travel? mine slightly hit the frame when drooped out, similarly mounted to yours, as far as position. i have 16" of travel though. those look like 12's?
