Yeah, I had to use 2 ratchet straps and a utility pole to get my "2nd hand" Olympic rack to fit on my jeep. :shhh:

I am going to get a rack soon as well. 3-4 people 2 dogs and camp gear is way too tight on those family trips. I narrowed it down to the yakima load warrior or kargo master.
I would only be holding light soft items up there to get to camp. I want something light weight, fairly low, about 40x50 or 40x60 and around $300. I like the Yakima because it is very light and am leaning toward it unless the kargo master weights in around the same weight class.
