Rolled Jeep - Need advice

Over President's Day weekend, I rolled my pile down in Glamis. Everyone is ok (just me in the car at the time), but the jeep is done. I'm super bummed, but obviously could have been worse.

Anyway, I towed it back and have been parting it out, but I'm not sure what to do with the tub.

Apparently, steel isn't worth dirt right now, so auto dismantlers aren't are buying. I think there's one near me that will pick it up for free, but I'm not sure if he realized that it's just the tub and engine on jack stands. Is it worth my time to chop it up and sell it to a steel recycler? (The one price I've seen is $100/ton, but I don't know how much the tub weighs).
What other options do I have?

PNP will pick up a shell for Free.

Or put in work and buy a plasma and cut it up. I don't see you getting much for the steel to make it worth the time. Ive given multiple tubs to PNP for free. Just gut every good piece out of it. Of course I usually only had 2 to 4 days to totally gut the things so you cut corners...

or make a cool furniture- like a jeep bed - and sell it on etsy

PNP paid me like $65 for my last bare tub. Had some interior pieces in it still but thats it.

Why are you saying its totaled? chop the roof and cage it and open top style?

where are you guys getting PnP to take a tub? they refused to come get my jeep on stands. they said it must be a roller or they wont pick it up.

My old jeep went to the PNP on sunrise a few months ago. I called and told them exactly what I had. I put it on the street and it was on a flat bed in the morning.

Just the shell and back doors on it

Pick N Pull gave me $99 for what was left of a rig I parted. It was a gutted shell with nothing left they could have sold.

They only picked my shell up because it was on stands and because it was in the dirt on the side yard. They told me that they wont do it if its in the driveway on stands because of liability issues with ruining your driveway as they drag it off the stand and onto the flatbed. Also it all depends on when you call and who you get. The first time I called they said they would take it for free and then when I called a few weeks later they offered me $99.
