roll tide baby, SEC in the house!! good game, texas made a good effort at a comeback but just wasnt good enough, but still a great effort from freshman gibson for stepping up. i seriously doubt he had any clue that he would be playing that much in this game... but i will look forward to seeing him come up in his career at texas.

bama #22 (forgot him name since i slept) had some tree trunks for legs man, those things were powerful... jeeze

It was a clean hit. Not like they purposely (from what the hit looked like) tried to take him out.

Congrats to bama for an undefeated season and a BCS championship. Even though I hate you. My hat's off the the freshman QB from Texas though. He did a great job under the circumstances and almost pulled off the miracle. Dumbest play calling ever to NOT take a knee at the end of the first half though. Injuries are part of the game and it was a clean hit on McCoy, but the freshman did well despite his mistakes. What do you expect when you haven't played all year and suddenly are in the national championship game?

yeh ingram and yes he won the mispelled award

and the replay showed it was a clean hit, the qb even said it wasnt unlike anything he has been hit with all season but it did it just right to mess up his arm. but hes not out for good or anything, they just didnt want to screw his whole career in NFL for good for this game...

That freshman did a great job for sure. He stepped into some big shoes and made some great throws on the biggest stage in College Football.

McCoy is a good QB and he'll be picked up for sure by a team. He just needs to be under a good experienced QB and a good coach for a few years to get a feel for the NFL

It was a great game and the Texas QB did a good job for what it was, which was not much playing time during the season and only the biggest game of the year.
