Rock Lights and winch bumper

Got some better pictures this weekend of my rig with the new winch bumper and my rocklights. The bumper was custom built by a chapter member, and is extremely solid and probably my favorite designed bumper I have ever seen.

The rocklights are probably one of my favorite mods yet, and are very handy for figuring out what your stuck on in the middle of the night. I got to get a few good pulls on the winch this weekend and really enjoy the synthetic line, its a lot more user friendly then cable.

Did you have to upgrade your alternator to deal with the extra current? Got more pics?

Nope not yet, gonna use some 2 gauge welding wire on the alt and battery cables and maybe run up a second battery.

I will probably put the extra lights on around thanksgiving or christmas, I have 6 hellas sitting in my parents garage and the cage has 4 tabs on it up front.

The guys who built mine (Those Guys Rod and Customs - think the blue Jeepster in Crawl a while back) was that they welded the cage around the roof and then used seam sealer to seal it back up. Some of the other cages like this that have been built have used roof speader plates that have been welded to the cage, then bolted onto the roof.
