So I just got a used Rock Krawler X-Factor Long Arm upgrade for my 98 xj and it needs the joints replaced. In searching I saw that the heim joints cab be replaced with johnny joints or krawler joints and found where to get them.
However, the upper long arm is supposed to mount to the front axle with a rebuildable "build-a-ball joint" as the Rock Krawler website calls it. I've tried finding someplace that sells these, but can't find them anywhere. And they're supposed to be rebuildable, but I can't find any directions or anyplace that sells a rebuild kit. Anybody have some help on these items?
Can the stock rubber bushing be used in place of this build-a-ball joint?
Also, any tips on installation?
