Rice burners 'r us

Hisssssssss........................Just kiding. There is nothing wrong with a honda as a daily driver as long as you didn't trade in the Jeep.I wish I had the money for a car and a Jeep

You got that right... a funny thing is that as I was moving the jeep around on the driveway to make room for my new ride it wouldn't start. It turned out the battery died. I think my XJ was throwing a fit! (actually I had the inside lights on over last 3 days as I forgot to turn of the hatch light control while it was open!)

Those Civic Hybrids are supposed to be good cars. They are supposed to be the most refined out of all the hybrids. If I could afford it, I'd love to have something like that for a DD. You are not only getting good gas mileage, but you are helping out the environment. I'm taking enviromental science right now and on one of our labs we had to enter our vehicle's info and compare to to the hydrid as far as polution per year goes. I couldn't believe how bad my stock 95 pollutes compared to the hybrids. I'm not a tree hugger, but I do care about the environment.

Welcome to the Darkside..or Greenside :D . The wiffy bought a Toyota Prius last month. We drove it from Barstow, CA to Fayetteville, NC. Averaged just over 46 mpg. She is now averaging about 48 around town. The car isn't a speed demon but it still cruised along at 75 mph.

I have to admit. I am sold. Now to convince those knuckleheads at DCX that this could work in a Jeep. I know it is only a pipe dream......

I got this one up to 85 already :D and found out in the manual that they are governed at 112mph :(

Its cool they are coming out with these fancy cars and all, but my old Escort got awesome gas mileage.

Driving in town it averaged 32 mpg and on the highway, if I ran around 70 mph, the car would get close to 50 mpg. Add to that all the safety features it had and it was a very nice vehicle. I just needed more hauling room, and 4WD.

Well I wanted a truck to pull my XJ around. Then I thought about a sammi to have two trail vehicles and switch between the two for commute, but I figured that I'd probably spend all my time fixing both. Now not only I will save on gas, but I will have more time to work on the bumpers, light boxes for the rear, building up the D30 and D44 without worrying about keeping it street worthy for the next days commute (120 miles worth of!).

Btw, is it bad that I was strongly considering keeping my XJ in the garage instead of the driveway and have the little gokart suffer the elements?? :D

The Prius is governed to 103 mph....I just has to find the limits of my car officer :D

The Prius has a nav system and we installed a XM kit that is integrated into the info/nav system. We looked at the Civic Hybrid but the Prius had more to offer for the price.

I looked at Yota's and I didn't like them... plus actually the Civic cost less for same base features (I never take any wrong turns so why should I need navigation stuff? :D).
Anyways, do they even offer Prius in a stick shift?? Cause my Civic is a stick

Go Hydrogen or go home!
no, go bio diesel or go home.
pulling power of a diesel amd smells like french frys.

Prius only comes with an auto. The hybrid system turns the engine on and off depending on the needs.

So you want a bunch of fat, redneck chics chasing you instead of all the mall hotties?
