RE's vs. Deavers

After swapping my 8.8 into the back of my 89 xj, its sits way too high with the 6.5in springs i have. im planning on going with new springs and a shackle relocation box. My question is which spring do i go with. I do a lot of crawling and high speed blasting where I live, and i dont know if the deavers will be flexy enough for the trails. Anyone use them as crawler springs? I know the REs are good on the trails, but they dont soak up high speed bumps half as well as the deavers.

I bought my XJ with deaver springs allready on it. I was worried they would be too stiff in the rocks. They actually did ok... and this past weekend I installed shackle relocation brackets. It helped flatten out the springs for a better ride on road and more droop for the rocks. Im happy with them.

If you can, get the deavers.

By far a superior spring, flex just fine.

I hated every rubicon express pack I ever ran. They all turned to junk pretty quickly.

The deavers don't flex at all. Waste of a spring.

Oh wait, i have that backward.. freaking monday morning.

The yellow/blue jeep above has G9's with a long shackle (maybe 8"?) and HD Offroad shackle relocation brackets. We sit at about 6" lift total and run 11" shocks.
