replace OEM aux lights on front bumper

OEM auxillary lights on front bumper of '89 xj are rotted out. I have some Hella 530's w/ 12 v relay, wire kit, switch etc. Can I just replace the dead OEM lights w/ the Hella 55w 530 lights. Why redo wiring and switches if it's already there. Do the OEM auxillary lights run on 12v?

you should be able to bolt the hella's right up to your existing mounts. However you might have to drill the mounting holes bigger in your bumper, for the new lights to fit, as far as the wiring goes its all 12 volts so it should work fine. Good luck.
