Just fitted a remanufactured Denso starter motor and now the engine turns over a bit slower. What do you think.

Starter motor could be sticking (bad bearing, etc), maybe it will loosen up a bit, maybe ask for replacement

May have found the problem. The Denso is 1.4kw and i think the original Mitsubishi is 1.7kw
