relocation brackets or sliders?

i run shackle relocation brackets (homebrew) i like them for ride quality and articulation.

i dont like them because even at a 45* angle my 1.5" lift shackles hang pretty low and make love to rocks often.

methinks some shorter shackles and beefing up my leaf pack is in order soon

I really dig he slider boxes. My only concern is that if down the road I wanted to go up an inch or so I would have to buy new leafs. With the relocation brackets you could always add a shackle to make it a little taller.

THEY STILL HAVE K-MARTS!? WHERE!?

In Indiana! Mostly its "thugs", Mullets, and Emo kids that go there after their mommy drops them off at the mall! :D

THEY STILL HAVE K-MARTS!? WHERE!?

They have em here... Never see more than 15 cars in the parking lots though.
And they took all the fishing gear out of the one closest to my house.:twak:

I am running the relocation brackets and i love them. Nothing better than adjustable and more options for main leafs and shackles.

I sent a PM to tim on pirate, he tells me that he gets at least 12" of travel out of the sliders, and they are undergoing a re-design to incorporate a rear gusset.

and according to his pirate thread about them they give you 1" of lift over stock.

anyone running the relocation brackets want to chime in with their travel numbers?

shorter shackles == less travel

The sliders would give the most travel I would think. They're an interesting design. Seem like they would require more attention and maintenance than shackles though.

i am aware. but i have way more travel than i know what to do with right now anyway. and wouldnt mind getting them out of the way a little better.
