Redbird Nov. 25th??

Your assignment: Compare/Contrast Redbird, Badlands, Cliffs.

Never been to Redbird, would like another place to go break stuff. Is it worth the ride from Chicago? What kind of terrain compared to RORP or Badlands. I'd think it'd be a bit more hilly but it is pretty close to Attica so terrain might not change much. Just wondering, as you don't get a good idea from pictures.

Ever busted any glass at the badlands? There is a chance you will if you come to redbird.

A little finesse is required at Redbird to stay off the bark. I almost prefer it to the Badlands, though not because it's any easier.

There are no rocks.

It can be quite muddy if there has been a lot of rain and I wouldn't say there has been in a few months.

I would say most would recommend not following the YJ on 42s.

I agree on the first statement.

Heck, I followed him on 30's! I didn't have any issues.
I didn't care for being the "trail cutters" though.

New development!!

Redbird management has approved a night ride on Nov. 11th!
Camping will be allowed in the paeking lot, for basically free.
You will be charged the normal $10 a day fee, which includes camping.

See here:
Redbird announcement.

EDIT: I'm 95% sure, no boose on Redbird property. So keep that in mind.

Discuss.

No, rules are rules in my book.
No need to make waves.

The last thing we want to do is loose a place to wheel.

I will be staying at the summers carrol campground then.

Why in the heck would you want to stay in Attica to wheel at Redbird?

Or are you wheeling the Badlands?
