Red 96 XJ Build

Nice looking rig!! I've got a '96 Country... but mine is White and looks a bit rougher around the edges. I've been thinking about ripping off the lower plastic panels on my XJ and doing a bedliner job as well. I like the way yours turned out. I'll have to add that to my to-do list when the weather cools a bit this Fall.

How did you remove your front doors and then put them back on and get the power windows/lock/speakers to work? How'd you deal w/the wiring?

Just placed my orders for the new radiator and tranny cooler plus i bought the parts to make a cowl intake.

which ones did you go with, I really recommend the B&M supercooler.

My rig has manual locks and windows and had ran new speaker wire prior to the doorless mod so i just put a plug in between for the speaker. If you have any questions about the mod just send me a pm.

And i did get the B&M supercooler. Do you run one i just want to know how well it works and how it was to install.

New Updates. Just added an ericsxj style intake

Next upgrades are gonna be the new radiator and tranny cooler which just came in and im gonna Upol the floors.

looking good, nice to see some builds around here

Radiator just came in gonna get the new cooling system parts tomorrow and gonna start taking out the seats and ripping out the carpet for the bedliner.

The cooler is pretty easy to install, I just cut into the rubber part of the line and installed it inline using some of the brass things that connect two hoses together. to be honest im not even sure if its the in or out line, but my temps definitely went down ( I have the B&M tranny temp gauge)

If I ever go 3 core ( which I plan to along with an electric fan) I will not re plumb the stock style radiator tranny cooler.

Alright new updates just finished installing the 3 row radiator and the tranny cooler plus i put on a new water pump, 195 thermostat, serpentine belt, fan clutch and all new hoses. So far this has probaly been one of the best mods ive done so far the jeep runs at 200 all day and my gas mileage went up pretty decently. Definately worth it. Ill post up some pics tomorrow.

Went wheeling today. Almost flipped the jeep i had both passenger tires off the ground and my roof was leaning against this wall because of the terrible line my spotter gave me. No real damage done so its alright but i snapped some pics.
