I put the XML in a ditch and fudged my alignment up, when talking with Tom before he recommended an alignment shop in Loveland. Apparently they are NAXJA members, so I'd like to give them the business if at all possible.

Anyone know the name of that shop? Or a good one in FoCo that also contributes to NAXJA?

Go to Bear Alignment. At the moment,

The guy's name to talk to on here is psullivam . Stay away from the older guy (owner). He can be a bit rude and hard to deal with.

If it was a nice car, I would certainly recommend putting it on a rack, but Its actually fairly easy to align a lifted XJ yourself. Sure, the alignment won't be dead nuts perfect, but with a lift and larger tires it will be just as crappy anyway. Just be sure you are toed in slightly and if you have the ability to adjust caster you can work wonders dialing that in. I am sure there are threads on here or we could explain how. Will take you longer to get the tools out then to do the work

Patrick is one of the few guys around that actually know how to align a lifted vehicle.

Part of the reason I want to take it to a shop is to make sure I didn't bend anything under there. Nothing looks bent but i know something is fugged, cuz my steering wheel is way off center now.

Any idea of home much an alignment on an xj goes for over there?

hey Ryan just emailed you and after reading this its making sense now.

like the previous post, a toe adjustment on a solid housing truck and/or jeep can be very simple and if youre confident enough with tape measures and where you measure from you can do them in your drive way. but you will not be able to adjust the caster properly or know what your camber is. I would not recommend it on other vehicles though.

but we do free checks and estimates and always take you back and show you what we find. ill wait for your response via email.

thanks
