Reasons not to move to California.

I watched the movie 2012 last night. While it was probably one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen I was cheering out loud when California slipped under the ocean.

In 1972 (yep close to 40 years ago) my sophmore fall elective was California History. There was a book assignment, "The Last Days of The Late Great State of California" by Curt Gentry written in 1968. I won't bore you with the details, fascinating book but the point is the nation has been California bashing since 1849.

I say GO BACK! We are tired of californians moving to the NW.... its the truth sorry LoL ok that is kinda a joke but not really. but if you get rid of the politics in CA it is a nice place. Southern California is one of the most beautiful place in the US IMO.

when i watched that my mom and my daughter both asked me what i was laughing so hard at. so i wonder when the beach outside phoenix will be ready

I also like guns and cheap land.

And I want a good tech job somewhere within commuting range...

it's really too bad about the political BS in California.

I was born in the bay, but decided I wasn't having the population and traffic. Not to mention concrete everywhere!

But hey, theres plenty of stuff to do and love in Far-norcal!

I was interested in Geology, but now I might get into Watershed management.
