So last week I became a father...as seen here. Brooklyn Elyse Brenkendorff, 7lbs 15ozs.

While at the hospital an older lady driving down my road was kind enough to install rear steer on my XJ.

I wish she would have taken it a little easy on the shackle mount, but that is what a Chevy Malibu will do to an XJ I guess.

The positive here is that my new rockers survived the wreck. I am not sure what kind of cash I should see from her insurance, but I think it can be repaired. I am just not sure if I want to mess with it any longer. I haven't looked at the frame rail, but I don't think it is damaged and if so, not bad. Thanks for looking.

I heard that the invisible double shackle relocation kit is going to be the new rage anyways. Good on you for getting on that boat before it is cool.

I like how the rear wheel and tire are now a jack stand. :rof: Time for rear links.

Congrats on the kid. My daughter was the same exact weight.

Congrats on the beautiful daughter. Bummer to have to deal with insurance, police etc when you are getting 30 minutes of sleep each night! Should be a pretty easy fix, hopefully you get lots of $$ to fix it.

Damn, good luck. Could have been a lot worse if the body had taken a direct hit.

Congrats on the newborn.

good looking jeep and congrats on the daughter!

total bummer for the jeep though, id be pissed off
