Rear hatch wire harness.

I got a new hatch for $30 and need to know about the wire harness that enters at top and goes down right side of the hatch. So heres the question:

I drill out the rivets at the top of hatch can I just pull the harness out once I've disconnected the connections at mid-hatch?

Is it just a shell or what? Or did U get a used hatch and no wiring?

From my understanding you remove the interior trim panel and its right there. There are 3 connectors at the top that go through the hinge area and connect it to the rest of the car's electronics system. BTW I do have a rear door wiring harness for a 97-01 incase you're in need of one.

I got it, I pulled it out of the hatch. I have an 88' and it connects half down the hatch. Know all have to do is snake it into the new hatch.
