My old burgundy XJ had the RE 3.5" Superflex on 31's.

The lift on my wife's jeep is cobbled together from a bunch of spare parts, but it's probably about what the RE 3.5" system nets.

Dude your wife's Jeep is nice! Mine is they same color except its a 97 so the bumpers, grill, and flares are black but its sitting on soft 8's too!

yes they are. they do a pretty good job too.

the roof rack is an olympic top hat w/out the top rail put on. i use it for protection between the trees. it works, too.

i wasn't even paying attention to the rack(normally i would :D) I like it!

lol thanks.
i need to take a sledge to it to beat it back into place. rubbin thru the trees, i stretched it all along the passenger side.

And the reason we are disappointed with the arms

I would say the reason that the RE arms bent was because you had stock upper control arms on. Thus not RE's fault, but due to the fact that there was stock parts with upgraded parts. This was also probably why they sold you arms at price, rather than exchanged them.

Looks like he came over the hill, hit something at the wrong angle, or something that wouldn't give, and it ended up buckling the upper arm, thus rotating the axle, and thus making the shock mount to come into contact with the RE arm. When the mount hit the tube, it dented it, creating a stress concentration, thus causing the buckling.

With both upper and lower RE arms, my LCA mount on the axle bent and broke when I hit a ditch, the RE arm was untouched.
