Yeah I really wanted to go, unfortunately I broke the power steering pump reservoir while changing out the steering box last weekend & I need this weekend to change the pump now. ASS HAIRS DAMN!! I will be present when we go back to finsh it.
Andy, I've been told I'm on official kid duty... so I guess I'm screwed for the trail cutting. I may see if I can get a sitter for the day... we'll see.
Worst case, I'll be parting the Wagoneer and getting rid of $tuff. So not a total loss.
DAMN IT!
call out sick... "I cut my arm off by accident, going to ER now"Looks like I won't be making it. Can't get out of work. When we go back to finish it I will be there.
tempting offer... leaving my house at 5am is not so tempting
OK... so who has experience dropping trees that are 16" in diameter or more and around 40ft high? There are a couple of tall dead trees that will need to be cut down for this trail, and there will be enough people around that someone with experience (with a spotter too of course) should take the big ones down so they don't fall on anyones head.
I can do it, but I will probably be out ahead marking the trees to be cut, and then they can just be dropped behind me. If you have experience dropping bigger trees, find me right away.
Also... if your bringing your chainsaw, don't forget your safety glasses!!!
Thanks gents, this is gonna be fun!!
A.
I cut 2 trees down in my vast lumberjack experience..I managed to not have the tree land on me..So that's a plus. Also, I have watched a bunch of "swamp loggers" and "Extreme Loggers" episodes on the History Channel.. Looks pretty easy to me. Call me "Qualifed"!:greensmok
Probably won't be wheeling in the afternoon
Yeah I watched a heart transplant on the medical channel one time, I think I am "Qualified" too!!
