Rausch Creek Trail Cutting Day!!!!

I am still holding out that I may get epic amounts of work done this week/weekend and make it down... though there is a 99.9% chance I wont.. The other option is for me to bring my altima if there is parking somewhere, 30+ mpg wouldn't be bad... but then again, that's only if I have the Jeep done, otherwise I will be working on it all wkend.

I mean, even if I manage to get the work done, chances are I won't even trust the Jeep for that long of a drive until I kick around town for a few weeks to bring out all of the "been in storage gremlins" :laugh3:

Sure there's parking and I am sure you can ride shotgun with someone if you want to go and lend a hand.

I am trying to get in touch with one of them... the other I am debating. If I brought them both the *expletive deleted* might hit the fan. They fell out of touch with each other a while back and I'm not sure if introducing them to each other again would lead to good old times type of stuff... or hell on earth for me (the driver).

I am leaving all options open damnit!

Wish I could join the crew for this, but at the moment I've got too much on my "around the house" list for Thanksgiving to get away.

Hopefully the stars will align for the 2nd or later installments and I can bring out the bow saw and tree pruner.

it would be cool if each section would have names that would kinda symbolize geography...

like North property would have say... scandinavian / arctic / Russian names...

West could have maybe wild west and sit like that...

East could have maybe Oriental names heh hhe

and south could have Mexican / Spanish names.

LOL... yeah, I can promise you the name won't be anything boring like "Trail 12"...

There is already one Black section unofficially named by the park that we'll be creating access to... its called "The Cemetary"... this fits the morbid theme in that section of the park already ("Tombstone" is close-by....)

I'll definitely be up, maybe the nite before if funds allow. I'm hoping to get the new front bumper done so I can bring Little 'Pus to run the new stuff too, but i'm going to have to see how that pans out as the week passes....it sucks my g/f wants to come and help too but she has to work all wknd...

You'll be able to drive the Dodge in, there is nothing that a stock Dodge pickup can't handle on the way to the trail head.

Andy, I've been told I'm on official kid duty... so I guess I'm screwed for the trail cutting. I may see if I can get a sitter for the day... we'll see.

Worst case, I'll be parting the Wagoneer and getting rid of $tuff. So not a total loss.

Yeah I really wanted to go, unfortunately I broke the power steering pump reservoir while changing out the steering box last weekend & I need this weekend to change the pump now. ASS HAIRS DAMN!! I will be present when we go back to finsh it.
