matt has 1.5" shackles...

So let me get this straight ....

Romp around in the woods all day, carrying heavy rocks and logs, in the cold, surrounded by NAC members with chainsaws .... and no beer?!?!?!?

Uhhhhh, I think I have plans that day ......

So let me get this straight. You would rather hang out with the NAC guys carrying around chainsaws, machetes, saws, etc. AND drinking beer at the same time? You are a brave soul.

And the General Lee...and don't forget about their friend - crazy Cooter!!

im still trying to find someone that trust me enough to let me borrow a chainsaw.... :D

Bill..I'll bring my chainsaw..we can share it..I had to sign a waiver at Sears when I bought it so as for trusting me with a spinning sharp chain of destruction strapped to a motor..eh..not much trust in d-town..

I am really looking forward to the 21st..TIMBER!!!:flame:

FYI... we did a little scouting trip this past weekend, and found a great area to cut a trail.

Before we went scouting, I got some very interesting sounding recommendations from both Lynn and Tommy from RC. Following their recommendations, we checked out an area between trail 101 and Trail 25 along the west side of "E"... and we decided to start cutting something in that area. We found a VERY cool rock vein that is a "Black-Red" obstacle that just looks sick, with area to run a "Green-Blue" loop around it. Sort of like "O" Trail, but much better.

We probably WILL NOT finish this trail on Nov. 21st, but should at least get a good start on it. No worries though, this trail will be finished by us (meaning the NAXJA-NAC crew) so there will be additional work parties planned in the near future to finish it.

So lube up them chainsaws.... we got some work to do!!!

Looked at the map looks like we have lots of room to be creative in that space... sounds like an awesome time. Is it here yet?

You must have been wearing a suit and tie when they had you sign a waiver, so you would'nt sue them for not knowing which end of the chainsaw you were supposed to hold on to  Only at SEARS!!!

:smsoap::smsoap: I want to goooooo!!! We'll just have to run this NAC-trail at NACfest, I guess :)

Good luck with the cut guys, seems like a great trail will result! Be sure to take pictures of it all throughout the day, I just wish I could go to lend a hand (read: saw) for the day. :gee:

I am still holding out that I may get epic amounts of work done this week/weekend and make it down... though there is a 99.9% chance I wont.. The other option is for me to bring my altima if there is parking somewhere, 30+ mpg wouldn't be bad... but then again, that's only if I have the Jeep done, otherwise I will be working on it all wkend.

I mean, even if I manage to get the work done, chances are I won't even trust the Jeep for that long of a drive until I kick around town for a few weeks to bring out all of the "been in storage gremlins" :laugh3:
