My '88 has a '95 radiator from a salvage yard for the last nine years. Keep your cooling system in good shape, should have no problems. I am running a manual switch for the E-Fan, and a Stant 180'F T-stat. I seldom get over 200'F while wheeling, utilizing the manual switch. I am running a clutch, if auto tranny I would suggest an external cooler.
As the argument goes......Keep your system in good shape, and run an external tranny cooler for the Auto.
