haha i was just bein sar astic... nothing against the forum... this forum so far has been way more helpful than jeepfourm. im not looking for a "race" shock. just a go fast schock that wont blow apart and isnt going to break my bank to bad.... thanks dudes....

FOA? there "cheaper" or so i hear
My FOA experience...
My 2.5x10" resis leaked at the resi> They fixed them but I shipped on my dime. They still leak a little though.
One of my 2.0x16" resis leaks at the resi fitting too> just living with it because I noticed just after the 6 month warranty.
Our first set of 2.5" bumps for our race truck blew up on the first semi-hard bump they hit... Dented 1.5" dom and then shot 30' in the air... Glad nobody got killed.
We ordered another set of bump can sleeves to change the way they were mounted and they said we would have them asap so we could make our race in 2 weeks... They showed up the day we left for the race.
My buddy has some 2.0x8" resis on his ranger and I don't think they leak(yet), he also has some 2.5x18" resis on the rear that leak very bad from the wiper seal.
Trying to get them to ship things out to you is so damn hard it's not even worth it half the time, and they never answer the phone or return voicemail...

thanks for sharing your experience, im surely not the only one to have strongly considered foa's... went with fox instead (not that much more, and the resale value is there)
My buddy Doug is well connected and was always about Kings but after talking with his friend for a while about the differences in Fox and King he bought Fox's for his new truck. I guess unless you have the King "race" series then the Fox is as good or better and much cheaper.
I plan to use fox coilovers and bumps on our race truck when I rebuild the front end.

I have Radflo Bumps in mine, and have had zero issues, other than I think they came with too much oil. I had to take some oil out to get them to compress all the way down. Who ever said Radflo wasn't up to race standards? I know of a few teams that use them and are pleased. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I came across a good deal. The only thing about them is that they use metric size parts and the bump cans need to be metric to fit tight. I have FOA bypasses on the back of my jeep, and they work awesome. They are a bit leaky....just enough to keep the shock body dirty. They are not hard to work on, to fix the leak issues, or anything else for that matter... I've just been too busy to pull them off and do it. Once you pull a shock apart, you'll see that they are a really simple piece of equipment, with no rocket science involved.

I got my Fox 2.0's from Kartek for $170 a piece. I'd probaly run them over 7100's, just my opinion.
