What kinda Plane is that a Cessna 172?? My dad has a 170A I was taking lessons a while back solod and than like an idot I quit... BUt i want to get back into it.

Wait till summer gets here & you have to contend with density altidude calculations! Don't forget to lean the engine on the taxi.

The 152's engine, besides being notorious for carb icing, is more than happy to load the plugs if you don't lean for taxi. Went through that one time too many and it's on the checklist now. DA was 3K when the pictures were taken.
No F-18s around here sadly- I do play in the pattern with Allegiant Air MD-80s from time to time though. By play I mean get the he11 out of the way and practice wake turb avoidance!

Jeff, I'd like to head down there in about a month. I need to pay off the flight school first.

they all do at this alt but the seminole seems worse for some reason. Hate to burn them off at that kind of $ per tick.

The pipers don't carb ice as much as the cessnas do. I do not know why.

Nice pix. The "home made" aerial photography is the best. I used to keep a Point and Shoot in the flight bag, just in case.

good idea if you get into an incident to take photos before the wreckage is moved as well.

well, if you don't ding any of the magical incident -> accident items and you're on an active runway it's plausible they could ding a control surface for example while moving the wreckage. With no photos you're screwed. Or so a very paranoid teacher taught me many years ago.
