Im not talking hypocritical do I need to post my emissions sheet to prove that? Its not that hard to get an xj clean as a whistle without cheating or losing power..........

No, Dude, I was referring to myself! I SHOULD be a heck of a lot more conscience of my vehicles because of my choosen field of study, you know what I mean? Kind of like that whole 'casting the first stone' thing. Not that I'm a tree hugging hippy.

If they engineered the vehicles properly in the first place, catalytic converters wouldn't be needed. There's too much technology out there nowadays, especially in the past few years, to keep making excuses for the existence of catalytic converters. They end up causing more pollutants due to increased fuel consumption.

I wouldn't mind running a high-flow cat, something that will both catalyze the unburnt NOx, but since the day I opened up my cat by drilling out all the honeycomb, my motor just breathes SO much more freely now......
