Some guy gave me a Pyle 12" sub a few years ago. It's still in use but I had a friend that works at a stereo place tell me that they were mediocre at best. I'm not sure what that means though. It sounds OK. Probably not as good as something he'd use, but sometimes it gets buried under the waders, boots, and wet gear back there so I'm not sure if something "better" would be a good idear.

I believe that the company's full name is 'Big steaming Pyle', but that's just my opinion. Seriously, avoid it.
