Well I got back. I was kicked out 1 year ago due to poor grades from a serious drinking problem. Stopped that, worked got into Jeeps. Got my hands dirty, got the alcohol out of my system. I recently got the letter that I am back in. SO I leave for West Lafayette, Indiana around the my 21st b-day...about 1 month or less. If anyone in CA wants to lend a hand in helpin me finish my XJ send me a pm, lol.

I am stoked, time to show all those who said I am a failure, that I am the man. Hope you midwest wheelers can handle a fawkin whacko like me.

Good luck!

I am glad you got a second chance. Make it work for you ;)

Yes I am very thankful for the second chance. I have only had second chances in my life, and strange how it happens, but I am making the best of them. Thanks for the support.

Ya a lot has changed on the campus since 87...there is an Aerospace building and a Nanotechnology building and a new Computer Science building, I cannot wait to see all of it, they finished while I was here in CA.

Actually, you're in luck. You have to be fawkin whacko to even be considered MWC material. I think you'll fit in quite nicely.:D

Cangrats on the 2nd chance. Life dosen't throw back many 2nd chances, don't fawk it up! Best of luck to you.

Congratulations ICE ... Purdue is a very good school.

You'll be near several members while there ... hopfully you'll have your XJ with you and can make some of the local runs.

Hopefully, you are strong enough to resist the temptation of abusing alcohol. Seems most people use it to have fun and don't know when to stop.

Good Luck!

I am have worked on the alcohol and got that under control. I really cannot wait, I am not a fan of wheelin on rocks. I am more for the mud and hills and stuff like that.

You will be about a half hour/45 min. from The Badlands ... they'll have just what you like.

I did the same man. Went back a few years later to a different school with more focus and a better idea of what I wanted. Worked out A-OK for me and will you too Im sure.
What's the major BTW?

Maybe you can make the 12 hour trip down and do some real wheeling in Clayton.

funny you mention going to Oklahoma City (Clayton), I have someone I will be making trips to see. So once my Heep is done I will be coming down quite often if I can.

My major is Management. You are talking to a proud man to want to open a shop just for Jeeps. Customization, parts provider, you name it I want the shop I want to open to do it.

Yep - that's why I'm getting my Tool & Die Maker ticket, and going into Mechanical Engineering.

Are you thinking about moving to Northern Arizona, perchance? That's (tentatively) where I'd like to open my shop...
