Pulling out the radiator to do a flush, yes or no?

You can "ionized" water in place of distilled. It's generally cheaper, and easier to find--most grocery stores.

ha! its funny you should mention those "ionized" water machines. We have a marine aquarium and used water that came those, long story short, it isn't anywhere near as clean as you would think. Obviously not quite as much of a concern in a jeep.

Anyway, I've checked the coolant a few more times, looks fine. But now I'm thinking...

I had a YJ, I took the clutch fan of and put on a electric fan. It was awsome! So I'm thinking about getting a replacment radiator and setting it up with three electric fan setup. Setting the whole thing up out of the jeep and installing when I've got a weekend. I'd love to hear from anyone with first-hand experience. I understand the concern of moving enough cfm's.

As for the initial concern of the trans cooling lines, all seems well.
