Proper routing for trans cooler line?

Just got both cooler lines replaced. The one that comes from the top of the radiator seems to run close to the efan (underneath it). Is that the right way? Trust, but verify the mechanic's work!

It's a 96 4.0 AW4 Country. No tow package, if that makes a difference.
