Difference between the '05 and the '07+ water pump. You can see the upper neck locations.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. The water neck is in the way of the throttle body. I thought it would work, and unfortunately it doesn't. Anyone want to by the water pump? Genuine ACDelco.

The valley cover bolts also interfere with the manifold. New low profile bolts are already ordered.

I'll order a new LS1 water pump and pump spacers soon.

Yea so my new ps and alt brackets were delivered today....to the wrong address. PayPal had my old address listed as a primary for some reason (obviously I never changed it). I stopped by the place and the guy had already given it back to the post guy across town. Now I have to go to that post office to see if I can get it. If not I'll be waiting another week (probably longer) to get them back.

Why do people use usps. Their tracking suuuuucks

What intake mani is that? Looks nice and low.

It's made by Professional Products. Online reviews were so-so but overall it looks like a nice manifold. Some of the casting marks are still there and I'll grind them down but no figment issues so far. It's made for a ls1 and ls6 so it's made for a 4 bolt throttle body. I have a 4 bolt to 3 bolt adapter

Eyup. Mine almost didn't come out because they were just shredding themselves in the socket. Oddly, they still worked.

Something I haven't found an answer for yet though is that in the TSB for the knock sensor issue, they say very clearly to NOT fully seal the boots. They say to make a 3/4 dam around the front sides, but to leave the back sides open. All the reasons I could think of for that really came down to just making sure you do a real good job sealing. Has anyone actually ever figured out why the TSB states to NOT fully seal them?

how are you tackling the a/c?
No idea yet. Not really concerned about right now. Living in Vegas I will NEED AC, but its on the bottom of the list.

Those knock sensors are probably okay. You would definitely know if they had been taking on water.
Yea they probably are, but I'd rather replace them then have to remove the intake after everything is done.

New valley cover bolts work perfectly: still waiting on gaskets.
