LOL! Lazy bum!

the 15 min (gambit's quote on how long it would take to get that eaton axle out of the truck ) axle rip from the junk yard too 3 hours and by the time it was out the sun had sucked all the energy out of my system.
Then Gambit thought the Crawl was next weekend and he going to get there a week early lolol

So maybe we ll work on mrs crawlers sunday..

Mark :)

Project MrsCrawler:
Sunday: met with Gambit *(adam) for lunch
Went to his "shop", lifted it up and took tires off of jeep.
I was curious to see how worn the rear drums were...
Well.. seems as though.. there weren't any traces of a brake pad left. to the point that the rivet had driven a metal groove in the drum ....
I ll post pictures tomorrow night
Put a 2" puck on the 3" coils
Put a new steering stabilizer
Put a trackbar with drop
Put in a 2" Shackle.. (pics on that too)

I ll post a pic of what she looks like now with 5" lift

Mark

Pics or it never happened! :confused1

HA I see plenty of pad there.......you just need to glue all the dust back onto them! :banghead:

what looks good? no rear brakes.. ?
oooh the lift? yeah...
Harlan... no

Im bringing the 'Con

Mark

I have seen that before. I have also seen it on the front rotors. Looks nice you should bring it for the baby jeep sections. :D

So.. its been a while..
New passenger side axle seal (thanks adam for showing me how to replace it)
New brake shoes and drum
Found out that Super Dave must have broken a rear shaft and forgot to mention it to me..
The passenger side axle shaft had yellow paint like the stuff you find a JY..
but seems as though when that happened he left some parts out of the drum brake assembly.. like the "doggy bone" looking part that holds the shoes even.. and the part that holds the e-brake so when you pull the ebrake it doesnt remain up .. like it is now..
note to those selling jeeps.. Just tell the guy buying your jeep everything so they go hating you every time they tear something down!
Oh and to add to that.. the battery died and i got to see how someone decided to hammer the lead around the terminals to get the battery cables on ...

So heres are some before and after shots.. take in to account.. the old shot is when it had 31 Mudkings and the new shots are with 3" lift + 2" BB.
