Project Geosynchronous Orbit

Looks like your trackbar and hydro steer might get too friendly? I'm on my phone so not entirely sure, pic is real small unless I look at a small piece at a time.

Finished the front axle up and also made the UCA (1.75 x .120 DOM with 1.25 RuffStuff heims) and tie rods for the full hydro (1.5 x .250 DOM). Painted everything including the trackbar I made too.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up some 2.25 x .375 DOM for my LCAs and as soon as my RuffStuff order gets here ill make and paint those as well. Hopefully I can set the front end down to see what my springs give me sometime this week. Then I can get started on the rear.

mine has been sitting on its own wieght since november, within 30 mins i can have it running and moving under its own power, you work slower

Mocked up the front axle to trim the inner fenders. Carmelo stopped by to give me a hand.

Driver's side is at full bump, passenger side is beyond full droop.

holy shit this thing is gonna be insane.

Looks like it wants to get the hell out of that tent nearly as much as you do, the tires are already spinning.

Colin has been taking all of his pictures of his jeep while going 37mph since the beginning. Odd you guys just realized it :dunno:

loookin schweet dude, she's coming along

Didn't do much this weekend, I was a slacker. Got both inner fender panels done, minus one small piece on the passenger side.

Originally I was going to just cover the bare minimum, but it turned out like crap and I got happy with the grinder. Battery is either going on its side or getting relocated to the bed.

Nothing major accomplished tonight. Got the passenger side inner fender panel done and started some leaf spring plates.

Made from 5/16" plate. Going to cut and bend the last 1/2" on two of the sides to prevent any bending while tightening the bolts.

Also took some measurements for a bulk hardware order from mcmaster. For anyone that's curious, the D60-ISU flange takes (4) 1" long M12x1.75 bolts.

Billy is gonna start using proper grade hardware now. No more 1/4-20's.
