ooo ecgs gives stickers, guess i may have to call em for my gears j/k doug at extreme axle is cool shit, but ya should trade drive slugs with me so ya have some to match yo knuckles

When is that all going in the axles? Can't wait to see this thing move :D

You mean I'm not the only one who leaves the clean clothes in the hamper? :dunce:
I do, though sometimes I dump em out on the floor in the corner so I can fill the hamper with dirty laundry.

I have a hamper? Will you tell me next time you're going to do that, though, please? I have more than two grades of laundry, okay? There's not just clean and dirty. There are many subtle levels. Okay? See? You hang this outside the window for twenty minutes... it's perfectly fine.

Not sure yet. Still waiting on the ARB/lubelockers from ECGS, I'd imagine another week for those.

The front axle is done so that can get geared whenever now and completely assembled. Nothing stopping it.

Rear axle has no mounts on it and is stripped apart. I think this weekend, pending when parts come in, I'm going to set the front end down on it's own weight and start working on the rear.

I might stop by some evening this week and harass/help you if you are going to be working on it and don't mind. What can get done while the axles aren't finished, wiring and plumbing? Winch wiring / install?

That's not a hamper, that's a laundry basket.

Why would you store clean clothes all crumpled up?

I think you're full of crap. And some of it made its way into that picture.

:D

Unfortunately I won't have time to work on it until Saturday. I have a midterm due this Friday so I have to spend tonight and tomorrow night on that.

I won't be starting any wiring/plumbing until I have the other stuff done. I still have to build driveshafts, exhaust, slave cylinder bracket, PS reservoir bracket, etc.

Though I might switch my priorities around and get the thing plumbed sooner than later to get any issues sorted out.

Good, that underwear was probably starting to smell pretty funky.

Even the best of us have to take time off from building to address real-life issues.

Nice laundry basket btw.

This is my plan for my fuel lines instead of buying new OEM lines from the tank to the fuel rail:

(2x) Derale 98200
- AN-6 to 3/8 hose barb

(1x) Russell 640853
- Fuel rail (pressure side) to AN-6

(1x) Russell 640863
- Fuel rail (return side) to AN-6

(1x) 25ft Goodyear FI hose (50 psi working pressure) 3/8" ID

I'm going to run rubber from the fuel cell down to the frame rail, hard line (double flared, hose clamped) up the rail to the intake manifold (factory clamp on manifold) then double flared/hose clamped up to the fittings on the fuel rail.

I think it should be fine and I can replace any part of it easily.

I wouldn't just hose clamp a fuel line, seems like a very bad idea to me. Get some AN to tube adapter fittings (like this but check tube size) if you really want to use a section of hardline. You're going to need to adapt to it anyway to use those Russell fuel rail fittings.

Also, what is the working pressure of that YJ pump? I'd be sure to double check the max pressure and the max temp of that rubber hose.

Factory uses hose clamps and flared hard lines.

I'm pretty sure I won't be able to hurt them.

My fuel pressure is regulated at the rail, and it's regulated to high 30/low 40 psi. I have to double check that.
