Project Downward Spiral

YES I was waiting for that pic with some wheel on her! progress looks great bill, Don't you still have to bend up a cage as well?
Yup, if it looks like she'll make NAC-Fest it'll be just enough of one to take care of the seat mounts and restructure the rear section. I've easily got three weekends or so before I really get into that though. The interior/cage is the next thing once the suspension and drivetrain is done and there is much work to be done on that.

Eric, Mr. I-b*t(h*d-out-on-NACfest, you're in no position to talk :spin1:

Nah, but stuff happens that we can't control sometimes, I just hope your reason is valid. ;)

And Mr. Bill... I hope to see this thing runnin Rausch, just like everyone else wants :) Good luck, and as always let me know if I can help

I hope to attend said run, WITH my Jeep. :)

IF the date arises? who are you kiddin, buddy? hehe

Ok, so I hear there was some sweet progress made recently.....picturesssssss please :)

Sorry, the woman wins over the Internet, she called, I must obey. :D

Got the rear coilovers in position, hoops bent, and all the brackets burned in place for the rear axle this weekend. All that is left is some bump stop mounts. It took a lot more planning and figuring than I had thought to get the hoops the way I liked them. Below is actually the second version. I had bent up another set that had a larger flat spot on the top and came down at a steeper angle and it just didn't look right. Everything was pretty much put in place yesterday, today was final checking of the angles to make sure the sides were identical and a few test flex positions.

I still need to get my hands on a second set of coilover springs. But I'm waiting on the final weight numbers before I decide on the 14" 150lb or the 14" 175lb springs.
I guess I'll let the pictures do the talking this time.
