Nice. Now get to work :)
Sorry missed your called yesterday, was at a Griffins hockey game.
a couple pages back you said you had a 5on5.5 rim, and i was coming out your way. no worries though, it was a last minute impulse to go get this thing.

Looks like a fun project. Wear are you gonna run for a front axle
ill probably regear the 30 and run it for now, see what happens...

i have adapters, and i also have my fancy knuckles. both are options to match the width and bolt pattern. im fairly certain i can keep the gear set alive, shafts will be a big issue. but the locker could be an issue, and take out the carrier/gear set. may have to invest in a full case locker along with the gear install.

if i seriously cant keep my 30 alive... itll be front 9 time.

Spend all that money on a 9" and you are running stock fron shafts??

Your funny!

yukon is refunding my spartan (win) but i accidentally reinstalled their super fancy hardened cross shaft when i put the spiders back into the diff... they want the cross shaft back as well. which is a little rediculous to me, knowing its all going to go in the scrap bin after someone looks at it. but i want my money back, so i just got done taking it out. i was surprised to find shiny stuff in the brand new diff fluid. i just took a mental note and dumped it back in.

good thing ive got an axle on deck.

been reading about pinion guards and 3rd members... a pinion guards helps protect the pinion, but stock housings still dont seem to like the abuse. solution? copy curries design...

hoping to shave and add ring gear protection at the same time.

stay tuned.

I ran a 9" w the regular pinion gaurd w no issues, in my opinion the above kills your ground clearance. PAT is still running the 9" in the same configuration I ran it w no issues from the housing.
