Project: Blacksheep- 90 wagoneer, low wide, ugly

Just ordered replacement heims, hydro assist, and about to order the new trac bar bracket.
Then all that is left is to get Old_Man to rebuild and tap my steering box (pm him for some great work)
Lower aluminum Links should be getting built this week as well. :D

Trail gear sells this as a kit at a really decent price and their shipping is super fast as well. using their joints on the lower links as well....

Getting the battery wires re-ran today. They had been half assed prior so I decided to drill a hole in the firewall on the pass side to make the wiring cleaner and easier to hide. should look a lot better when I am done.
Rear main has been pulled out and replaced. Although after inspection it appears that in bashing my oil pan - I created a gap in the back between the motor and oil pan. So just need to pick up the pan Yella has for me and it will be good to go there.
Got all the steering sanded and painted. Led's abuse has bowed the tie-rod pretty bad but itll do for now til I can get another one built. Just waiting for the Steering box (THANKS OLD_MAN!!) to be rebuilt and tapped for the assist and I can get that system bled out. and ready to go. Rear perches, and the new heims should all be here tomorrow from ruffstuff. Then it is just a matter of getting the spool in the 44, the perches welded on - and the links being completed - and ill be ready to roll!!!!

Arizona Rick.

His rig has been one of my favorites for a long time. After watching him clean back door a couple of years ago with no problems and the "dana 60's are for lead footed hillbillies" (I think that is the exact wording) sticker, he got my vote.

slight front end resemblance????

who is this?

Indeed. Rick is good peeps. Your kinda guy Mike.

Here's an early webpage Rick did of the initial build: I kinda think of it as the XJ that caught a buggy virus...... the buggy grew all up inside and through the XJ... kinda consumed it...:D

Mike has some pretty wicked ideas for his rig! Now he just needs to make them happen! Just don't forget to let me know when I need to bring the sawzall over!

Should have some work doen and new pics after this weekend.

Thanks Kiefer for the new lights BTW

well, got the running lights wired, just need to get the brake lights done. I hate wiring. I absolutely cant stand it cuz I suck at it lol. Even on this simple stuff

Just fired the jeep up. Got the new oil pan, gasket, rear main all buttoned up. Jeep sounds great. seems to be running smoother than before. must be the correct amount of oil thing. who woulda thought? But it was nice to be able to hear it run again :D

Still gonna be two weeks til this thing is ready to go :/ Parts are taking longer to get completed/in than anticipated. I shoulda waited to tear it down so I coulda wheeled some more. Been over a month since its been driven :(
