Project: Blacksheep- 90 wagoneer, low wide, ugly

Just to keep this thread alive......

I picked up the 'new' tires and wheels, steering, and upper link tonight.
Just need to buy the last few parts I need and pick up the axles and ill be set to go for the swap. Unfortunately in this mix is moving into our new place (finally), getting the girls Xterra ready for the drive to Alaska, and starting a new job. So who knows how long the jeep will be a hover-jeep in the new garage.....

roughly where the front tire will sit. maybe just a touch more forward - keep in mind the jeep will be going up just slightly via small spacers

Like I said, Need two more inches of sidewall! Go get those 39"s back!

I cant believe you are going to make it a year!

Should be fun. Can I get shotgun through patriot?

I might be able to talk my dad into letting me get down there again...

of course
although. its prolly gonna be a while before im wheeling again. jeep needs a lot of love and fixing befre i go beat on it hard again

on a side note....as i tear the axles and such from under this thing, i noticed my 1/2" plate tcase skid is bent.....

How the f*** do you bend 1/2" ????
also tweaked the body enough to crease the floor in the cargo area, and none of the doors latch, they stay closed with pressure.

Man what did we do on spring creek to mess up our skids so much?!

time for more tube and less sheet metal to crease...

I dunno. A stock skid-sure. But half inch- that's just ridiculous. I'll enjoy they extra clearance here soon. Just have a few bolts and front end is out. Rear is already out and loaded.
