How about a forum where you can list a product, part, accessory, add-on, gadget, or whatever and how you like it. How much of a PITA is was to install. How much it cost. Where to buy and etc.?? There could be general categories and sub cats.

Like: Electrical > Headlights > Bulbs and Electrical > Driving/Fog Lights > Complete Lamps and Exhaust > Mufflers > Performance or Exhaust > Mufflers > OEM Style. (Etc. Etc. and so-on)

When one was thinking about which brand of "whatever" to buy he could check here for reviews and opinions.

Well we already have that: it's called Mod Tech, OEM, OtherTech and street and performance and with a creative use of the search function you're very likely to find quite a few opinions. ANyways the more forums you get the more confusion it creates.

That hardly compares to the kind of organized and well laid-out collection of reviews that I'm suggesting. Which, of course is the opposite of confusion. However everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. Why...I bet some on here will even be voting for Kerry!!!

Well when searching, you have to do a little bit more work, that's true, but along with the reviews you are very likely then to come across install threads as well as potential problem threads relating to the same product.
Another thing to consider is the fact that what you're suggesting would take a fair amount of manpower to implement and for most part this site is member driven/supported (hint hint ) and all the work is done by volunteers. Anyways if someone decides that they like a product and they want to write a review, they are always welcome to submit it to [email protected] and it might end up making it into our tech articles collection.
