Problem running smoothly. timing? valve? i'm stumped

yeah that is where i have it. The oil pump is definately at 11. The rotor is probably closer to 5 though i'd say. the center of it is a little past the center of #1 on the cap, which seemed off to me but i moved it more towards the center of #1 (counter clockwise) on the cap and it definately doesnt run right.

Well good news, it is fixed!! :sunshine:
I spent a day at the yard and pulled a set of injectors out of a 96 with 105k on it. I installed them tonight along with a new fuel filter and it fixed my problem. The #6 injector was almost completly clogged on the inlet (fuel rail) side. I took it for a drive and it definately has more power than it did before this problem occured! Also got tons of other great stuff at the yard today, so I can't complain at all. thanks for all your help

Glad to hear you found the problem, but there might be another problem with using the 96 injectors. The OBDII (96 on) jeeps run on 49psi fuel pressure. The 94 injectors flow 21 lb/hr @ 39 psi. The 96 injectors flow 23.2 lb/hr @ 49 psi. That mean the 96 injectors would flow 20.7 lb/hr @ 39psi. Nevermind... I guess that's close enough.:)
