MWXJ is a place for MWC members to go and let their hair down so to speak. Kinda like the Den, but more tame.It provides a place for chapter discussions to take place without outside interference(members area). I honesty don't see what the big deal is concerning MWXJ. It doesn't hurt a thing in my opinion. If you don't like it, don't go there. No one is forcing anyone to participate on MWXJ, all MWC members are welcome.

I am over there from time to time, but not for much comment, just reading the threads. I don't use it enough at this point to make it beneficial to me, but there are others using it, so it could be beneficial to some and not others.

Maybe monetary drain is the wrong choice of words, how about resource drain. Honestly I don't know what it take to run a site like that.
On the other hand I think there are only 5 or 6 people that actually use that site, even then there are only a couple threads over there.
I know this has been brought up before, but I just don't understand the point of that site.

I somewhat question it's usefulness recently.
It used to be nice because it was a tight nit group of guys that were the MWC core that had met everyone, wheeled together, wrenched together, etc. Now we let anyone in that lives in the chapter regardless of face time.
I understand that our BOD forum is over there so doing away with it may not be the best thing.
Activity over there is extremely slow on the public forums.
Just an observation.

well.....i can comment on the 'monetary drain' aspect of MWXJ, since I am the one who keeps it running (even though I am not running for any BOD positions).
the only thing MWXJ costs is my time.....which honestly, isn't even that much time.
