Kinda off topic but in a few years if so to say one day I was to pack up and leave Indiana in seek of racing and prerunning, where would be the area most suitable to look into buying a house where it would be a short drive to a play area?

But for the most part SoCal esp. San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, parts of LA county. Las Vegas would be another area.

Im sure its not anything like they do out west, but have you considered running in the TREC events at the Badlands? Went to the first one they had and it was alot of fun for me and i was just helping in the pits. Nothing big but its a 8.5 mile course. The next on is in August (cant remember the date off hand) but check out there calender on there website. Entry fee is $125 I believe. Also believe the payout is 100% of the entry fee's but could be wrong. It would atleast give ya something to do while your still stuck in Indiana.

I wish I could get into something local but after I graduate college next year and get back in the workforce Im putting every penny except gas money into my school loans so I can get them paid off and have my freedom to get to the desert and not have anything holding me back

im in north san diego ten minutes from the beach 1 1/2 hours from ocotillo its perfect in the winter you go from dez to snow(palomar mtn) to the beach in the same day

Any where in socal. Im from the high desert and there are all kind of stuff to mash through there. 15 minutes to El mirage, 30 minutes to Bartsow, Lucerne Valley, Johnson Valley. I also lived about 3 miles down a dirt road so even going to my house could be fun.

The town is called Phelan, Its pretty cool. Its a secluded area, but There is still freeways, malls shopping, ski resorts... All within 20 minutes. And the Cops arent very strict on vehicle codes ( flares, doors, mirrors, ect...)

I miss living in that town now!

hahahaha. It depends what part of the desert..

And in the repo business I would imagine you deal with all the low life meth heads and not the normal people ( Some of which are meth addicts )
