Power steering cooler question

I am in the process of replacing my entire steering system with an AGR box and pump. Is it worth taking the time and spending the money to add a power steering fluid cooler? If so, are the aluminum finned http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DER-13249/ ones better, just as good as, no different than the little mini radiator style ones http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DER-13212/ ? Also, any suggestions for mounting locations? Thoughts? Opinions? Experience?

Re: POWER STEERING QUESTION

What sized tire do you run/plan on running? I really dont think you will need a cooler after all those upgrades.

Re: POWER STEERING QUESTION

A good cooler never hurts and they're a good idea to protect your investment.

The only coolers I've heard to stay away from in a steering system are the plate style ones. Both of the ones you pointed out would be fine.

Re: POWER STEERING QUESTION

Get a larger stand-alone transmission cooler, and then use the trans cooler in the radiator as your power steering cooler...

If you're running big tires and a front locker, a ps cooler is a good idea.
