Post pics of international XJ's only!

yup.

you can read it in yer rear view mirror.

even then, its silly, because it says 'follow me'

when clearly, if you are reading it, you are not following...

haha

Hi people. I live at Sao Paulo/Brazil and that is my "Almost Original" XJ BRINQUEDINHO (LITTLE TOY) at Puma - Atibaia/SP - Brazil.

-I read somewhere that the South American XJ's came with a stock Dana 44 front axle. Is that correct, or do you still have the "traditional" high-pinion Dana 30? (If you do have the Dana 44, is it a high or low pinion model?)

This is what I have in the back of my '93

It's quite common for 4.0L XJs in the UK to be converted to run on propane (LPG).

That's really interesting. Do you have any more photos of the connections to the intake system and/or throttle body? I am very interested in converting my 4.0 XJ to run on either propane or gas (petrol) and any information you have would be great!

Dear,

I changed my axles. Now it's Dana 44 Hight-pinion, but the original front-axle was a Dana 30.

The Venexuelan XJs use the Dana44 ojd project.

I have an old Italian system made by a company called BRC. The system was sold under the model name Just(tm) and installed by a specialist in England. It is a simple single point venturi system and has been reliable for the last 100,000 miles.

from a recent camping trip.
2 XJ's... both with the famed Canadian structural carpet floors.

Here's a picture of the inside of my '01.

Vince,

Do you find it annoying to have to reach over the entire console to get to the 4x4 shifter? It seems to me that would be the most annoying detail of RHD XJs.

I should get Rainer to post some pics of his Diesel XJ here.

I find on LHD XJ's I sometimes skin my knuckles going for the lever. On RHD only my finger tips touch the console. It's actually not much of a stretch to grab the lever with your left as long you are looking for it.

The biggest problem is that you are actually invading your passenger's personal space. Finding the lever in the dark with a female passenger in the front seat can lead to a slap in the face.

Ah, that explains the UK Jeep Cherokee advertising campaign in the late 80's that I never understood.

"Jeep Cherokee, the only MPV designed by pervs."

how about a Kurdish one?
