The elevation is 9,800 ft.

Tom I will keep this in mind. Keep in mind this is total dry camping, ie. no shower facility. We are gonna go the direction Jeff and Myself have set up for now........

I found the campground I saw a couple of years ago. It is informally called the Eureka dry camp. It has toilets and is a large flat grassy area. No charge for camping and you just kind of pick your favorite place. I was hoping it was a wet site but no luck.

By the way, the lady at the visitor center said she made it over Cinnamon pass a few days ago. They only got about half their normal snowfall this year.

Only half normal snow? We're gonna be seeing the suck factor of that in about a month down here in the flatlands.

I do like the "no charge" part of your idea, Tom. Especially since I won't be able to make it for the whole week. (Just the weekend.)
