Well, I guess I shouldn't call it a "turd", but the ugly 'ol Ford did clean up nice. Amazing what a decent set of tires and wheels will do for a truck huh?
It had a busted spring pack on the driver's rear too. The bed was tweaked way down on the right rear corner and I was afraid the frame was bent, but I replaced that spring pack and it's straight as can be.
Pretty much got all the bugs worked out of it, but it's still starving for fuel at higher RPM's. Gonna replace the mechanical fuel pump tomorrow to see if that helps.... I'm hoping it's not the fuel distributor/injection pump.... $$$
Still wouldn't give up my Dodge though........

Here's the pretty side:
If I knew body work I'd probably replace that damaged rocker area...... but for resale value, I suppose it looks better to have the old wrinkled stuff there with matching paint instead of a straight door and fender and hammered-out rocker all in primer....:dunno:
Damn near ready to put 'er on the market.......
