OK You keep asking for change so here is some.
This article says the Pledge is BOLDER than Newt Gingrich's Contract On America. Well since the Contract on America included the deregulation of the financial industry I can't believe anyone would support something BOLDER.
I was actually searching for a CBS RADIO news piece from last nights drive home talking about how the pledge is lacking in substance. It states proposals without stating how to implement them, sorta like me saying I'll climb Mt Fuji when I don't posses the skills or resources to accomplish that task. The person being interviewed I believe is the congressman that will become speaker should the democrats lose the majority.
It will be interesting in the next 4 weeks to see if the House of Representatives really shifts balance. In my congressional district I believe it will.
