Well just got home a few minutes ago. A great time was had by all. I want to thank everyone for coming out today. It was good to finally meet a few of the new members and all our guests as well.
An extra special thanks goes out to Boatwrench, and Rightseatsis for getting the BBQ started and for finding the perfect spot for our lunch. The food turned out great too.
I also would like to thank all who brought food, beverages, and supplies. We wound up with way more food and drinks than we needed, but it is better to have extra and not need it that not having enough. Next time we will have to plan the food a little better for the amount of people we have.
Never got a full head count, but I think we had a total of 13 rigs. Mostly XJs, but we had 2 Rubicon TJs and 2 toyotas join our run.
Good to meet all of you and thanks again for coming out. If interest is high enough, maybe we can do an annual trip to Frank Raines. Seems like the park is centrally located enough for most people in the Sierra Chapter to attend.
I'll upload my pics tomorrow and post them up for all to see then.
